The Indonesian Financial Intelligence Institute has the task of carrying out education and training in the field of prevention and eradication of money laundering and terrorism financing prevention.

The Indonesian Financial Intelligence Institute  in carrying out the aformentioned duty, carries out the following functions:

  1. preparation of preparation and development of education and training programs/curricula, modules, learning methods and materials, as well as education and training schedules;
  2. preparation of conducting guidance and competency development of teaching staff;
  3. preparation of monitoring, evaluation, and preparation of performance reports on the implementation of education and training activities;
  4. preparing the implementation of evaluation and monitoring of education and training;
  5. preparing the review and assessment of the results of education and training;
  6. preparation of assessment and preparation of performance reports on the implementation of education and training;
  7. preparation of coordination for the fulfillment of non-widyaiswara and widyaiswara teaching staff at the Center;
  8. preparing the development of non-widyaiswara and widyaiswara teaching staff in the field of prevention and eradication of money laundering and terrorism financing prevention;
  9. preparation of expert development in the field of money laundering and terrorism financing crimes;
  10. preparation of the implementation of technical and functional education and training, both at the national and international levels;
  11. preparation of the implementation of pre-service and structural education and training;
  12. preparation of coordination of cooperation with third parties in the field of education and training as well as monitoring the results of cooperation in education and training;
  13. implementation of central household management including administration, archives, and services for the procurement of goods and services;
  14. implementation of central library management; and
  15. implementation of central administrative support.
