Thursday, October 21, 2021, the JFATK Young Expert Level Training was officially opened by the Head of the HR Bureau of Ortala. The training was held for 7 days directly at the APU PPT Training Center ( on campus ) and 5 days off campus.

The first day of the training began with the delivery of directions and expectations by the Deputy for Prevention and the Deputy for Eradication of PPATK. Furthermore, the training participants received material from the Directors along with resource teams from each Directorate. On the third day, participants receive materials Group Dynamics of the coach (Coach) at CUBIC Experential LEADERSHIP approach Learning through some ice breaking games and interesting. The materials received during the On Campus activities are as follows.

  2. Application of FATF Recommendations
  3. The concept of ML criminalization: Current constraints and challenges
  4. Reporting Obligations and PMPJ: Current constraints and challenges
  5. ML/TPPT Typology: Recent Trends & Threats
  6. NRA and SRA: Implementation and challenges
  7. Scientific Writing Techniques (Refreshment)
  8. Transaction analysis and inspection: Current constraints and challenges
  9. High Risk Products/Services
  10. Domestic and international cooperation: Current constraints and challenges
  11. Compliance Supervision and Oversight:Recent Obstacles and Challenges
  12. Preparation for Making Innovations in building an effective FIU

Participants were very enthusiastic and active during the On Campus training, especially during class discussions.

Creating Innovation

After participating in the On Campus training activities at the APU PPT Training Center, participants were asked to make innovations in building an effective FIU. Participants are given time to make these innovations for 5 days in the form of papers and presentation materials. Participants were also asked to present their innovations in front of the examiners consisting of the Head of the Work Unit, WI Pusdiklat APU PPT, and the Ortala HR Bureau Development Team.

The innovations produced by the participants received a lot of support and positive responses from each Head of the Work Unit at PPATK. Furthermore, some of these innovations will be compiled in the form of a book to be submitted to the PPATK leadership.

The training was closed directly by the Head of the APU PPT Training Center. This JFATK Young Expert Leveling Training could be well organized with the cooperation of the APU PPT Education and Training Center and the PPATK Ortala HR Bureau. (Novan)
